Update on Dyno Nobel Acquisition

Orica and the European Commission (EC) have reached interim agreement for Orica to proceed with the acquisition of Dyno Nobel entities and interests in Chile, Peru and South Africa and the completion of contracts with Dyno Nobel customers in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

Last month, Orica advised that the EC, and other regulatory authorities, were considering Orica’s plan to acquire the European, Middle Eastern, African, Asian and Latin American businesses of Dyno Nobel (excluding the DetNet Joint Venture and a Mexican Initiating Systems plant).  

Orica is continuing to work closely with the EC.
