Orica’s Managing Director and CEO, Graeme Liebelt, has welcomed NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell’s announcement in parliament today of a mandatory environmental audit into Orica’s Kooragang Island site.

“We welcome the Premier’s announcement and will cooperate fully with the Office of Environment and Heritage. Orica will also be focused on keeping the community informed of activities on the Kooragang Island site going forward.

 “Orica wants to work with the Office of Environment and Heritage and the local Stockton community and remains committed to continuously improving our environmental performance,” said Mr Liebelt.
